I will be playing a short set for the “Tender Wild Animal” movie release this Friday April 12 at the Park Theatre. It’s going to be a super fun night with the Shaden Garret and the 12 Midnights, Jeremy Fisher and the Second Hand Pants! And of course, a screening of “Tender Wild Animal”.

This Friday, February 15, Feed the Birds will be part of a Songwriters Cafe at the Watson Art Center in Dauphin, MB. The night will include performances from Ben Melnick (my older brother!), Sol James, John Wilson, Gary Procyshyn and Cara Luft.

Last week’s show at the WECC was a blast! Thanks to everyone who attended. I think it was very close (if not actually being) a sold out show! Nice one Wooden Sky. Feed the Birds is very excited to be opening for Wildlife and The Wooden Sky at the West End Community Center on November 27th! This show marks the first of a new phase for Feed the Birds. Feed the Birds will be heading to Toronto in June for Canada’s biggest Indie Music Fest NxNe. The band will be showcasing on June 15 at 8pm at The Central on Markham Street. In it’s 18th, NXNE year has expanded to a 7 Day rock your socks off fest with the likes of The Flaming Lips, Bad Religion, Plants and Animals, Of Montreal, Hayes Carll to name just a few.
